Or is it more of a personal vendetta?
As you all know I lurk in SC most days and noticed that our friend Patty was banned by Merak for saying "bitch and moan" and yet so many others, can get away with using the word Bitch in a thread and no warning is issued (I have used bitch in threads there over the years and it has NEVER been an issue) and is totally ignored.
Favouritism I ask? Unfair? Uncalled for? A Mod trying to get rid of a popular member?
After watching the carry on in SC regarding Merak modding, I think this mod, is using their 'power' over certain members which is against the rules and totally not fair.
If you are going to do it for one...do it for all and dont let your personal feelings about certain members control your modding finger Merak!

Fair enough, Janny. I was wondering about the goings on there, too. There have been a couple bannings lately for insignificant stuff, while others have been able to post their normal stuff without worry...

Thanks Ctd , and Ydekm...We had decided on Friday that the time was right , and i was just waiting until i had time to inform a couple of others , but when i saw this thread It seemed a good time to promote Roadhog , ...and if there is a percieved problem of conflict of interest , i'll ask roady to step back from moderating any issues that he is personally involved in...Congratulations Roadhog...welcome to the team ;D  |

You're probably not wrong, considering SC promoted to mod a group of members early this year, including Sam_W, who threw the towel in about 5 minutes later, when he discovered the crap involved.
