to ask this but can't sit on it any longer... I've been having treatment for CML (leukaemia) for a wee while now and FRIDAY is my BIG DAY ... I'll be having the post-consolidation phase tests to see if we've achieved remission. I'm feeling better than I have for the last 6 months so I'm really hopeful that it's going to be positive, but also nervous and the smallest bit scared of what it means if it's not the outcome I'm wanting. I'd appreciate your good vibes sent this way!!!!!!!!!! Fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed...

Had the bone marrow aspiration. Hurts like hell, still sore. They drill into your hip!!! I get the results early next week. Tired, sore and miserable at the moment. But getting less sore all the time so should be back to work Monday.

Hope you get the results you desire Cherry. I have 2 friends who were diagnosed with leukemia, one 25 yrs ago, the other 15 yrs ago .Both are fit and well and fine and still continue to work each day, and both have it in their heads that the leukemia is not going to beat them at all.
Much positive thoughts your way.

Thanks for that. From what I can gather they consider you to be cured if you stay in remission for a certain length of time. Feeling great health wise so am SURE it's going to be fine!
