;DThose Who Wish To Learn To Post Pics, walk this way..>>
Woman 9/10/2005 3:54:20 PM Hi guys
I see a lot of you saying that you don't know how to post pics.
This thread is for you, if you want to learn.
A lot of sites do not remote link, so it is safest to save what-ever pics you want, to your computer in -
My Documents.. My Pictures
From there, you will need to upload it to the net, to be able to post it in the forum here.
We used to have to do it the hard way lol, it is so easy for us now..
Join a site like Photobucket.. they have albums to store your pics in.
Link here - PHOTOBUCKET
Once you are in the Photobucket site.. click *Browse* That will show you the pics you have on your computer..highlight the pic you want to upload.. and click *Submit* Your pic will load.. the page will change and you will see your pic there with the URL already attached to it ready to post into here. There are 3 to choose from.. pick the middle one which says *Tag* Highlite that to copy it.. and then paste it into here.
** Please be careful of the size pics you post if they are too wide they will stretch the thread out >>
In here they should not be wider than 430 pixels.
If you want to make them smaller to post in here, just click Edit above the pic you have in your photobucket album, and photobucket will downsize it for you.

" How do I post a picture in the forum?
The picture must be in JPEG or GIF format (with a file extension of .jpg or .gif).
The picture must be no wider than 500 pixels. If it is any wider, it will disturb the layout of the forum and may be removed by a moderator.
The picture must be on the web, and you need to know the address (URL) for it. If the picture is on your computer's hard disk, you will need to upload it to the web somewhere.
To post the image, include the following text, inserting the URL of the image as shown in red:
<img src="http://www.web.com/image.gif">
To help you remember this, the < and > things tell a web browser that this is an instruction for it, the "img" part is an abbreviation for "image" and the "src" part is an abbreviation for "source". "

Happy_camper 6/6/2008 9:24:10 PM Woman do you think it might be a good idea to have a thread on how to resize. I would do it but I have no idea myself with the new layout of photobucket. Woman 6/6/2008 9:30:39 PM It's just the same HC..

I think if I remember right, they give you a choice of about 4 sizes.

Failing that - what I always do is select from Photobucket the box entitled "HTML Codes" (usually the third box down...
Copy that and paste into the thread you want ...
<**a href="http://**media.photobucket.com/image/motivational%20posters%20or%20motivation**/_Nik-iCons/Motivational%20Posters/ mp14.jpg?o=52" target="_blank**"><**/a>
Rermoving all the ** from the above copied from the HTML Code gives this...
