do you realise that 66 innocent people have lost their lives today in the fires in Victoria?
Do you think any of them worried about online life?
Lets all take a step back and think of these poor people who perished in fires today... and realise there is more to life than getting hurt/upset about words on a screen and people we dont really know over the internet.

Those fires are bad, I have fought bush fires, I know how unpredictable they are. Fires that big are very hard to imagine, hard enough to imagine a fire with a front of one mile, let alone a fire of 6000 hectares, that was last weeks fire, I presume this one was/is bigger?

it is up to 108 confirmed dead Kinda makes you realise how lucky we are and all the silly backstabbing and fights going on are really not worth it.

Too true Janny. My prayers and thoughts are with those in Victoria, and also those near you who are in the midst of flooding. One extreme to the other.

The more stories they tell on the news, the more scarier & sadder it is People trying to get out of its way then crashing & ppl had nowhere to go We cant begin to understand what their last few minutes were like They thought they were doing the right thing trying to get away Ppl taking refuge in a spa pool ...
To everyone who's left to grieve & rebuild, wow what a task
What a strange weather system thats going on

:-*My heart goes out to those poor people, who have lost so much and will take another lifetime to rebuild their lives. the death toll goes up every time you see the news, just awful! l cant help wondering why they didnt have a skywatch type service to send residents prior warning of an approching fire before it gets there. so , so awful, so sad, but we could all donate to the cause and help them out.

Makes you realise just how lucky we are....... My point exactly... here you all are carrying on about stuff that really isnt important.. stuff over the internet that is NOT real life.... over here we have got people homeless, children without parents, parents who have lost their children, whole families and communities wiped out within minutes, people who have lost so much... not just in the fires but also with the flooding up here as well. I think this is the perfect time for everyone to take a step back and be thankful for what they have and to stop the whinging!
