Do you crack a raw egg in mace?
Another I like, is left over chinese, or stew & some grated cheese, nice and hot

Yep I crack a raw egg in, it's like eggs on toast without having to get the fry pan out, or make the toast. If I have it with cheese then I put grated egg cheese around the white of the egg, and leave the yolk alone, yummy.
I love toasted sandwiches.

yummm will have to try that I've only recently discovered eggs & parsley in toasted sandwhiches & love it
Very versatile things eggs Generally the only thing I can eat on night shifts, poached egg on toast does the trick in the weeny hours of the morning

use garlic butter and full with eggs, mushroom and bacon - chives and parsley add a bit more.
eggs alone are good, but better with a herb mix.
try filling with thin slices of kumera which has soaked in orange juice [ kumera in orange is a desert dish in one of my cookbooks [ Otaki Presbyterian one from memory ] )
shredded chicken, chinese spices and egg to bind it is worth a try, as is curried egg.

I used to do that too, mace, but now have a sandwhich press so can't do that like I could in the old toastie pie machine
