The pillars of the earth by Ken Follet ....973pages...about the middle ages...on tv today , recommended by Oprah...she said she couldn't put it down , but towards the end didn't want it to end...interested to know who else has read it...s'pose it has just come out as she gave each of her audience a copy...she highly praised it
