i'm getting great pain in my right arm/elbow/shoulder , which i can presume is RSI from 8-14hrs spent at the computer...it just hurts so much...thought i'd been through all the pain barriers with comp use about 2 years ago , but suddenly(about a week now)...i'm in agony when sitting at the comp operating the mouse.... Does anyone else get the same/similar?...only cure i'm aware of is to not be on the comp...not really an option ..it is severly limiting my comp online time lately

Yep, RSI
Try sitting up straight in your chair and having your monitor so that you have to look slightly up to it. Frequent rests, get up and walk around every 10 minutes, no matter what. Ice compress on sore parts, followed by heat, then ice again, then heat for at least half an hour. MOVE your body, use it or lose it as the saying goes.

Is your desk too high or too low. I had to change desks as my old one was too low, new one is at elbow level , whe3n sitting at comp. Is comfortable at that height.

I think you can get 'wrist rest' type things as well, now...A computer shop would be able to tell you

Also go to chemist for a proper wrist support strap, one that your thumb goes through and then wraps around your wrist for support.

If neck is causing problems get a heat pad onto it, see a Chiropractor about it also.
