with being away over here... and not getting any NZ news.. I have NO idea who we are going to vote for.
We have received our Electrol forms and been told what we have to do to do our vote as NZ citizens....
give me your reasons as to why I should consider voting for your favourite.
*Janny has got a hell of a lot of reading and research to do over the next week or 3*

That's a hard one Janny...
To be honest , I don't think any of them are worth voting for...All future political scenarios that I can see as possible, do not fill me with confidence....Whoever wins the majority of votes will have to make an arrangement with the maori party i'm picking , and that is not a great recipe in my opinion...John Keys looks like he could make a great Prime minister , but the Nats have too many old faces from when they were last in power , about 9/12/15 years ago...and they are hoping to get over 50% of the seats and govern alone...that is not generally realistic in an MMP system...The system is designed to stop any one party to govern alone...there are 7 Maori(seperate) seats..out of 120...the greens will get their 6-8% and NZ first(Winston Peters will struggle , but may get back in on 5% , or Winston could win Tauranga...It is almost voting for the devil you know situation...with world wide financial meltdown/recession as a strong reality...I am totally unsure who to vote for also...Much as i disliked the present PC crap and policies , I doubt that they have anything major to drop on us now after 9 years...but nothing would suprise me...I hope you can sort something out of that lot...no real help i'm afraid...

Act has got intself into the pickle by accusing New Zealand First of having it's hand in the cookie jar. Turns out it was Act's hand! National keeps making stands on issues, then doing a u-turn when they realise they wont be accepted. Labour is... ummm... Labour ...so is New Zealand First if Winny's old party (National) are to be believed... And the greens have been on some wierd magic mushrooms! The Maori party is at war with itself. Pita wont side with National, Tariana will. I'll give them 5 more minutes of survival!
