From Sandy from SirRoadhog Goals for the round from Sir_Cala First get your General to 50% asap. General score goal for a non donator.. Aim for 1000 exp by day 50 End of Round scores.... Aim for about 75 palace size and 1500 experience by rounds end before the 4 must have techs. this is just avg if you have more than this you are having a good round. Top 25-30 ranking. For those who are donators the bar has been raised quite a bit. Day 50 you want to have about 1200-1300 exp End of round 2100-2200 exp and about 82-83 palce size before buying your final 4 must have techs... Exceptional players have around 2400-2500, Biscuit, Mike etc. I had 2400 and it wasnt enough. Usually I stop at 2000 rams but there are certain players that had about 3000k maybe more they will have to enlighten there attacks on the top Dragon Lords/Orcs from last round.

(Base*TE)*(1+battletechs)*(1+barracks%)*(1+TA), where
Base = sum of att/def values of your troops (depending which you calculate) TE = Your Troops experience battletechs= sum of %s from relevant techs except from Technological advantage. (100% = 1) TA = 0, if you don't have Technological advantage, otherwise it's the number of the techs you have divided by 100
The TA is the tricky part that makes finding out this calculation so difficult, barracks bonus doesn't affect it, so it really only gives 1% per each tech you have, instead of 2%, like it says on the description. This is a reply to this message: Army strength calculation by cutler121 Does anyone have the formula to calculate army strength? I want to make a few what if tables to see how to best increase army strength while keeping my score low. Thanks.

Universities 5 through 9 from cutler121 University 5: (Opens specialisations- click on one to read all) Battlefield supremacy-Ignore enemy 'Thick walls' and 'Improved battering rams' technology and gain +5% leadership bonus. If enemy has 'Battlefield supremacy' this technology has no effect. Merchants guild-+10 merchants. Large towns-Overcrowding decreased. Jeweller apprentice-Changes Jeweller technology to: automatically buys 2 diamonds every hour as long as you have at least 4000 gold (the diamonds cost 1100 gold) and you logged in today or yesterday. University construction-Universities cost 10% less. New trade routes-Additional trade slot. Training in battle-Increases possibility of achieving experience through battle. Power of basic formation-If you have more pikemen than enemy you get +8% weaponry bonus.
University6: You can have 3 knights per 2 palace levels. Constructors enthusiasm-Each time you issue a law you get some (tax rate/500, but no less than 1) battering rams or walls (choosen randomly) in addition to the usual law effect. (only with Constructionspecialisation) New trade commodities-+1 merchant per 10 technologies. Honourable gift-Each time you send a gift you get +1 glory. Knighthood-Knights base attack and defence +1. Power of axe formation-If you have more axemen than enemy knights you get +5% weaponry bonus (research Double axes technology first). University 9 Extreme prodigality-This will turn the prodigality icon into even more cool picture (buy Prodigality first). Abundance-Immediately +100 turns, +10 gifts (you can store up to 200 turns and 5 gifts). Royal reinforcements-You get +20 population (15 pikemen, 5 knights) instantly, your palace can support additional 5 knights.

Ranks from Jantar Ranks: This round there will be a more formal method of promotions so that everyone will know when they are due to go up in rank.
Council: Limited to 7 members until the faction size is larger than 40.
There will be two faction owners, a second owner will be appointed on the first day.
The two highest score players (apart from owners) from the previous round will be appointed at Rank 8.
The next 3 highest score players will be at rank 7.
Faction Members:
All members joining on the first 3 days of the round will initially be at rank 4. Then ranks will be adjusted on the basis of where their final placing was in the last round, and how active they are at the start of the current round.
New members after this time will start at rank 2 if they are completely new to the game, or rank 3 if they have a score of at least 1000 and at least 12 influence.
Further promotions will be: One rank at score 20000 and a further rank at score 50000. One rank at influence 60 and a further rank at influence 180. One rank if they recruit 2 new members and a further rank if they recruit a further 4 new members.
However promotion to council is limited according to the faction size and must be approved by both Wairua Tapu, or one Wairua Tapu and a majority of council.
Demotions: Demotions will only be for going inactive for a long period with letting the faction know. After 7 days - loss of one rank, dropping one rank each 2 days after that. After 14 days reduced to Rank 1. After 20 days may be suspended from the faction.

I see we have 3 members with scores of 20,000+ and araki 6 rankings...i find in the beta game that the more I give higher ranks to for performaqnce , the better they perform...having lots of rank 8 doesn't seem to be a major problem , now we know our members...rank 7 at the very least i would imagine for page 1 listing members...my suggestion....give good ranks to reward effort/performance...no one will complain...but they may not try as hard , or leave..
