Very interesting, Player.
I played the Arikikapakapa course about 20 years ago - that bloody great water hazard owes me a few golf balls!

:oSounds like you are all due for a refresher visit to Rotorua sometime...glad you all enjoyed them...it is hard to find good pics that are not copyright and won't post....Show your Aussie mates Janny , and they will bring you as a guide ;D Frankie...there is the club 18 hole course and a public 9-18 hole course there...i used to play there twice a week...many years ago...the 19th was excellent...plan another visit Hells Gate were you Granny...some nice places all around there...now they are into the mud baths out there now...behind it all are some brilliant pools and sulphur deposits...i saw them as a youngster , but some commercial outfit is all over it and entrance is very forbidden now...someone is raking something good out of it...was three pools on a hillside...getting hotter by height...

Now that has spelt it out for everyone Player... I have taken a lot of photos of the same areas this summer....putting them together onto a DVd with special maori music behind ..to send as gifts for overseas friends later on... Christmas time..... Never thought about it until my Canadian friends were here earlier Feb/March 08 and they reminded me I live over all that pressure...when you think about it we have got to be mad don't we? At least we wouldnt know what hit us would we??
