Now that has spelt it out for everyone Player... I have taken a lot of photos of the same areas this summer....putting them together onto a DVd with special maori music behind ..to send as gifts for overseas friends later on... Christmas time..... Never thought about it until my Canadian friends were here earlier Feb/March 08 and they reminded me I live over all that pressure...when you think about it we have got to be mad don't we? At least we wouldnt know what hit us would we?? I've always thought of Rotorua as a pressure relief valve to the boiling cauldron below...pent up pressure is the danger area...we release the pressure...would like to see your dvd some time...sounds lovely...hope you are feeling alright hun...another 4-6 weeks and we will be into spring

You are kidding Player.....spring usually holds worse weather than winter....!!!!and we could have snow up until Labour day.. AND if we follow the trends of overseas, which quite often we do then we could be in for a very wet summer.... so growing web feet could be the order of the day...... :DI'll be in my element being the keeper of the lakes who needs a boat when one could have web feet.... just like my friends there

As for the DVD...I am waiting for Photos my son took while he was here to do their trip too he will be sending them back on DVD ....Along with the photos I took should get some real good ones .....between the two of us...
Its a lot of work can take days.... but I enjoy it.....then he and his friend will get a copy....I did this for my Canadian friends too also a two hour movie of their trip which they love.
You will be very welcome to see the finished product Player...But gathering the photos may take some time yet, but I would be happy to show you the Lads DVD when it is finished to let you see my work........

I always feel sick when Im in Rotorua..I do love going there but I leave with a thumping headache, and nausea..Has been like that since a child..I remember staying at Whakarewarewa for a school thing quite a few years back and that was exciting, in between the feeling sick..I gather Rotorua is just not the place for me, even though it is nice going there for the day..

i'm sorry to hear that Mace...but i can understand how some people might find it a "heavy" atmosphere...maybe if you were staying here you would adjust after a week or so...we can only smell the sulphur occassionally , and as we come back after a holiday
