If the all blacks play anything like they did last night, there's no bloody way they're going to win the world cup.
To my mind they played like a second rate provincial team which is just not good enough.
When I saw the score reach 20 points by the aussies I knew then it was all over bar the shouting.
And as if the standard of play was'nt enough, there were at least 2 shonty ref and line calls & by guys that are supposed to be international refs.
For me, last nights game was a big wake up call for the A/B's, and
I'm picking that Henry will have given some of the players a right bollicking after the game.
Watching the game, it did'nt take long to figure out that the aussies had the measure of the Blacks foreward pack.
Yet they persisted in playing it close in instead of sending the ball wide out.
But when they did do that they scored,surely to christ McCaw could see what was going to happen if they continued to play a foreward game.
It makes one wonder who was the captain during the game because he did a piss poor job as far as I'm concerned.
Everybody knows that if you've got a back line that is more than capable of scoring tries you use them to your advantage,not leaving them languaging wondering if they're going to get the bloody ball.
Maybe the blacks are getting a bit complacent by thinking that they can play a catchup game and still win, well last night showed that you can't get away with that, not against teams like australia.
To make matters even worse, they lost last weeks game against South Africa too.
WAKE UP A/Bs, because the writing is on the wall for anyone who cares to see.
