Hi Cherry, Of course Clapton counts!! Living guitar legend! Blindspott I never heard of though. I'll have to check them out on You tube. The last Coldplay album is a real pearl! I saw them a few months ago in Paris, where they played a small concert and answered questions between songs for a french t.v show. I was'nt a big fan,but they sure convinced me now.

The Jam have a great sound..Even just watching some of those pommy programmes on TV and you hear the late 70's early 80's pommy bands, like Jam or Psycedelic Furs playing in the background, bring back such good memories, same as Madness, The Beat, all the different Ska bands that were out, good times...

Yeah I agree, The Jam had a great sound, real sounding roots. Another group I thought of was The Violent Femmes or those old garage sounding groups like the Buzzcocks. Even the Beastie Boys on another kind of groove. Too much music and so little time!!!!

sniff. my cd player is broken in my car (I can't get cd's into it for some strange reason), and it's the only chance I get to listen to music! So it's back to the Edge for a bit... if only they didn't play the same stuff over and over and over and over and over again....

Hi Cherry, wow you've got no luck! Otherwise you can get a nice ole acoustic guitar and learn a few chords. They never break down! (unless you start snapping the strings!!). If my car C.d player does'nt work, I'd get a new car!! Only joking.

Thanks again Player, I think you're trying to make me homesick on purpose!!!!!!! But I'll give it a listen. It's a pity about the time difference. I feel I arrive on the site after everyone's gone home! Like the cleaning service at the end of the day!! But it's like that I guess. Chow for now...
