This site sees to me to not be very 'user friendly' anymore, and there isn't very much to smile about in the forums Boring, I know, but when if first joined this site, the forum was chatty, interesting, and I may be wrong, but people really seemed to care about each other. It is great to see some still use the forum that way. What is happening, are we truly getting so bored with life we come on here to see who we can upset? Feel free to send me all your abuse and grumps and whatever else. Whatever you do, I wish you all love and peace. Report this post

Correcting spelling isn't nasty, it's educational.
Sometimes threads in SC are hard to read, often due to poor grammar and spelling.
I know no ones perfect and we all typo sometimes (well maybe not her holiness Kimarhi), but it's good to learn the correct spellings. Report this post

It is sad how some have tried to make me out as a big bad wolf, I'm simply someone who enjoys to laugh, but not usually at anothers expense, maybe at an animated gif's expense... I think I'm a nice person, although a lot of people here would disagree with no solid reason to do so. I don't really care, but I have apologised to samm2 and even made her a girlfriend Duck for her Duck, yet she can't remove her chip.
I'm woffling and I'm off for a while.

Sometimes if I have just one slip up there is always someone there to point it out. It really isn't necessary.
One day I accidentally spelt my town wrong and it was nothing really, only too have someone come on and say to me "You would think if you lived in the Feilding you would have learnt how to spell the place correctly".
I found that unnecessary to have even been said.

As for the way life in SC was before... Going by everything unfolding in here over the last few years, I'd say that gossiping between old members is far more harmful than people taking things to heart.
There are some major "no life" gossips in this place who try to pretend they are all sweetness and sunshine (the worst of which has posted in this thread).
I will say I do (to an extent) agree with some of what amichi has said but I also agree with some of what superarmy has said. Unfortunately, it will only get to you if you let it. Report this post

I have been to some vicious forums and some others where the debates get so incredibly heated and structured it boggles my mind as to why I took part. In a debate we would tear apart every single sentence the opposition made and give supporting evidence as to why they were completely wrong, they would then counter it with their own sources and try and prove my sources wrong. The debates would drag on for months and would often require 1-2 hours of structuring your next reply. Fun yes, but very time consuming, that's why I've came here, way more relaxed, debates are small and controlled, and the atmosphere is far more welcoming. Report this post

I feel I have missed some "major" thing in SC but that's life.
As for the way life in SC was before... Going by everything unfolding in here over the last few years, I'd say that gossiping between old members is far more harmful than people taking things to heart.
There are some major "no life" gossips in this place who try to pretend they are all sweetness and sunshine (the worst of which has posted in this thread).
I will say I do (to an extent) agree with some of what amichi has said but I also agree with some of what superarmy has said. Unfortunately, it will only get to you if you let it. Report this post

I have been to some vicious forums and some others where the debates get so incredibly heated and structured it boggles my mind as to why I took part. In a debate we would tear apart every single sentence the opposition made and give supporting evidence as to why they were completely wrong, they would then counter it with their own sources and try and prove my sources wrong. The debates would drag on for months and would often require 1-2 hours of structuring your next reply. Fun yes, but very time consuming, that's why I've came here, way more relaxed, debates are small and controlled, and the atmosphere is far more welcoming. Report this post
