Well I wanted tea to me nice & tender, it ended up like soup. lol At least it didnt get stuck in their dentures Having a lot of laughs today Went sightseeing to Hastings Napier etc the lookouts were cloudy & wet, so had to do the shopping thing instead.. Wet, Dry, Wet Dry all day! Stopped off for a look over Waipuk & the flooded river but the weather is not being very kind at all to the travellers unfortunately Monty has a new 2 legged friend Now I had one big job for granny to do & shes done it already Her task was to teach my eldest how to waltz. His school ball is in July So now he can do the Rhonda Rumble Thanks for the awesome pumpkin roderick - what a beaut

Waipuk is wonderful! ;D Have been looking everywhere for a 1GIG CF card, because it is of the "smaller"variety absolutely no-one had them...until I went into Waipuk yesterday afternoon This morning we are off to Porangahau Beach for 2 nights, just Darby and Joan (and their dog) Time to walk the beach, see if we can get a fishing charter and read a book or two. Moth has a whole heap of short videos, so will download them onto the laptop, then onto DVD or he will have the hard drive full in no time at all Catch you all later

...Peter,Peter pumpkin eater Always reminds me of the joke.... Waipuks good to visitors it seems. The local vet looked after monty yesterday so we could have a day out. When we picked him up, there was no charge they said they wished more ppl would think of doing that when they are visiting, so thats a great plus for them I was impressed that they did that for us. I rang nice & early yesterday am & no problems whatsoever ;D

We are back from Porangahau beach, what a beautiful place that is, everyone so nice and friendly, takes as long to get to the beach as what it does to walk along it due to the natives wanting to ask 20 questions. A wonderful time was had by the three of us, Monty loved the freedom to run and play in the breakers........lucky we packed a towel for him Later on today we are off to Danniverke to meet up with goldie for a cuppa, then onto my Aunt's at Pahiatua, about a good hour away from here. Weather is beautiful, Summer clothes needed today ;D The view from the ranch slider is really something, snow capped Ruahine Ranges Really must download all of those photos to clear some space on my camera card

Tonight is our last night here in Pahiatua, tomorrow bright and early off to Linton Army Camp to catch up with a certain brother stationed there, then off to Wanganui, through to Waiouru and then Taupo tomorrow night. We were told that there was snow on thetrack between Pahiatua and Palmerston North, couldn't find it........but was certainly cold enough last night for it. Went outside for a ciggy about 6-ish and came back inside quick smart, was covered in sleet! Really wanted it to snow
